    - Programme to integrate the Findus business on to the Nomad Food Europe business processes and IT systems landscape. To deliver an end state IT environment and organisation that supports the target operating model for the combined business.

    IT Operations Manager at Findus (Sverige, Norge, Finland och Danmark). Responsible for all Nordisk IT Operations and our French hosting. Areas include all applications from the point of go-live, Service Desk, Client Handling and Infrastructure. Member of the Nordic IT Leadership team. Process owner for Findus Incident, Service Request, Problem and Change processes. Head of Findus Change Advisory Board. Team Manager for eight people and managing the two outsourcing partners delivering infrastructure, servicedesk and client handling.

    Moving to a local business model with updated vision and new strategy. Focus on operational excellence, core categories and simplifying.

    - Implementation of factory IT infrastructure for a fully automated froze warehouse and the attached Findus factory in Bjuv. Including the implementation of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solution supporting the factory, warehouse, suppliers and customers.
    - Outsourcing of all infrastructure, client handling, printer handling, license management, asset management and implementation of new service desk with processes for Incident, Service Request, Problem and Change with optimized ITIL base. New model for Service Level Agreements, Service Catalogue, New Findus IT Delivery Model. KPI implementation, Customer satisfaction service and follow-up.
    - Rebuild entire network, add monitoring of all hardware, UPS support, new firewall.
    - Outsourcing of Findus Nordic data centre. Windows and Power Systems, 200+ servers in total. Implementation of redundant WAN.
    - Implementation of a new Nordic common platform for Product Information Management (PIM) handling material, customer, supplier master data including product specifications, bill of material, nutrition calculation and CMS data.

    Senior Consultant, Sogeti

    Working on numerous of integration projects as a senior consultant. The work included many abroad assignments in countries like England, France, Austria, Norway, Spain, Finland, Germany and USA. Between 2004 and 2006 I was responsible for Sogeti Syd’s competence area “Integrations Centre of Excellence”.

    - • Developed a standard adapter between the Infor ERP platform Movex and the integration platform webMethods. The adapter is still the only adapter towards that ERP system and is sold to several customers.

    Consultant, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young

    A new company was created after acquisition of one of Swedens iconic brands. My assignment was to integrate the existing old owners systems with the new systems at time of due diligence whilst at the same time setup the future IT landscape. My work in this global integration project included setting up the corporate integration strategy and architecture. I was responsible for the architecture but also for implementing a model for support and maintenance. Within the assignment, we integrated 40+ internal IT Systems in 300+ interfaces in addition to the Business to Business integrations towards customers and suppliers. At this time, I was also managing the group of people within Sogeti who worked at the assignment at Findus, at most 5 people.

    - Integrated several SAP systems with the production system, Movex and factory systems for labelling (Markpoint).
    - Supply Planning (Infor). Implementation of all interfaces between the new Supply Planning solution and existing ERP systems to bring in stock, forecast, sales etc and in the end produce net requirements for the productions systems. The goal being central execution of supply planning, one company.
    - Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse. Implementing interfaces to the Business Intelligence platform for budget, forecast, planning and financial consolidation purposes.
    - Master Database (MDB). An in-house developed Master Data Management solution to manage all material master data in a central and harmonized way. Interfaces towards all internal systems where the same data was read-only to provide the one single point of truth for material master data.
    - Designed and developed several 3rd party adapters used by the integration platform, webMethods towards internal systems.
    - Workshop leader for the customer on how to make a new strategy of their internal use of the webMethods integration platform.
    - Review of the customers entire webMethods infrastructure.
    - 2000 EQT bought Findus from Nestlé. 14 factories, sales, finance and logistic units. This initiated a global project to set Findus as a stand alone company. My role in the project was to set the entire integrations architecture in the chosen tool called webMethods from the company Software AG. The project delivered a standardized integration platform with defined canonical data formats for all major business exchange documents, the framework for monitoring, track and trace and error handling, roles and responsibilities and finally documentation.
    - Technical Project Manager on a project implementing real time trading on the Internet.

    Architect assignments in the integrations area and Lotus Notes, Quality audits and reviews, project management, educations, workshops and pre-sale assignments.

    - International Business to Business (B2B) project. Connect the customers warehouse, order and transport systems globally to provide Supply Chain Visibility. I was hired by the customer to act as their integration expert. This was a shared project between Sweden and USA.
    - Support and advisor to the customer working with their Lotus Notes installation.
    - Support of local infrastructure.
    - Quality review and assurance related to the customers Lotus Notes installation at one of Norway’s largest insurance companies.
    - Implementation of a new Intranet based on Lotus Domino.
    - Restructure of the companies Lotus Notes/Domino infrastructure.
    - Implementation of new Intranet.
    - Review and requirement specification to a new ticket management tool.
    - Development of a new product catalogue.
    - Education for all end users on Lotus Notes.
    - Development of web based applications. Intranet, knowledge databases and project portfolio office.

    Consultant, Cap Programator

    My first employment after finishing my education. Consultant at Cap Programator in Helsingborg. Main area of expertise was Lotus Notes where I managed everything from development to administration of the platform.

    - Development of several applications based on the Lotus Notes platform. Management reporting, competences, product lists, order handling.

I’ve worked with Markus since February 2017. We have collaborated on several integration and decommissioning projects for Findus/Nomad.

All of these projects have been delivered successfully despite a challenging business change environment in the Nordics. As a result Markus had to continue to deliver a high quality IT services to the business whilst also managing supporting a large and complex SAP ERP integration project. This was made doubly demanding as several key members of his team departed during this period to ensure that they had employment elsewhere.

Markus has been very supportive of me in my role as infrastructure lead for transition and decommissioning. In addition Markus has also provided accurate financial forecasts down to a high degree of detail.

Due to his ability to manage resources and his in depth technical knowledge, I would not hesitate in recommending Markus for Head of/Director of IT roles.
